The MobWatch Jesus on the midnight eve of His death. Like a pack of fireflies the bobbing torches of a ruthless mob come streaming into an abandoned Garden called Gethsemane. At the front of the rabble comes the cold-hearted betrayer, one of Jesus' closest followers named Judas. Judas treacherously plants a wet midnight kiss upon the bearded cheek of his Master, signaling Roman soldiers that He is the one they are to arrest.Jesus looks into the heartless eyes of His betrayer, and addresses him as "friend." Read it for yourself in Matthew 26:47-50. Even though those who reject God to the end will by their own choice miss out on eternity with God, He still loves them. |
