OutcastsWatch Jesus like a hawk as a man with leprosy (the medical and social equivalent of AIDS in Jesus' day) comes stumbling toward Jesus, the ravages of the disease plain to every fleeing eye. Jesus doesn't move. Then in loving compassion He reaches out His hand and touches the pariah on his disease and cleanses him of his rejection. If you want to know how God treats social outcasts, some of the stories recorded in Mark 1 are a good example. |
