Jesus said if you want to get to know God, we must
get to know Jesus. John 14: 7,9 A
pretty awesome claim!
The first four books of the New Testament, the gospels–Matthew, Mark,
Luke, John–record the life and teachings of Jesus. The most important
truths ever given about God are found there.
Want to know how God treats the guilty?
Want to know how God treats social
outcasts? Want to know how
God treats those who reject Him? Want to know how God treats
the wealthy and the economically marginalized, the socially elete and the
disenfranchised, abandoned children and abused women, the educated and
the ignorant? Then read the story of Jesus in the gospels.
God is eager for You to know Him. God will commune with you as
you prayerfully study the Bible, especially the story of Jesus, in an effort
to get to know Him.
