Angels
The Bible depicts angels as created beings who live in the
presence of God and are sent by God to minister to those who live on earth,
especially to protect and guide us along the path that leads to eternal
life. Revelation 5:11; Psalm
91:11; Hebrews 1:13,14 One
or more angels appear to be assigned for this purpose to every person at
birth. Matthew 18:10
Our generation seems to have a fascination with angels. In the
western world angels are a hot marketing commodity. Even Hollywood
has gotten into the act with "Touched by an Angel". In many bookstores
the subject of angels occupies a whole shelf by itself.

In Revelation 14:6,7 angels at the
end of time are streaking across the midnight heavens with an ominous summons
to the human race to "fear God and give glory to Him".
