Connecting with God
If you are overwhelmed, as many of us have been,
by the intellectual foundation for faith in Jesus that God has provided
in the prophecy of Daniel 9:24-27, and would like to respond to it, the
following prayer points the way to one possible response:
"God, I have to admit that this prophecy is amazing. I may not
have all the answers to my questions about You and religion and the purpose
of my life in the grand scheme of things, but it does appear that Jesus
was more than a mere man and that He may figure into my life and its meaning
somehow. I want to know more. Continue to lead me into deeper
understanding. I want to experience what you have for me. Amen."
