Becoming Friends With God
If you want a relationship and friendship with God that will assure
you of being prepared for Jesus' return, you can simply tell Him so and
ask Him to help you live with spiritual integrity before Him from this
day forward. Not that you won't make mistakes. There will be
much growing to do. But this is a place to begin. If you're
still not sure how to do it, you may offer the following prayer.
"Dear God, I do want to be ready for Jesus to return. I
do not want to be caught unprepared like most people were when the flood
came and when Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed. But more than that,
I want my life to count for something, to make a difference for good and
right. I need your intervention and help. Make Your path for
me clear, and give me a willing spirit with the courage to walk it.
In Jesus name, Amen."
